Ali Baird is an accomplished nursing professional with a background in cardiovascular and vascular care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Auburn University and began her career at Centennial Medical Center, an HCA Healthcare hospital in Nashville, where she worked in the Coronary Care Unit.
Ali pursued advanced education at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing, completing her Master of Nursing Practice with a specialization as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP). She went on to work at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Vascular Medicine practice for 6 years. During her tenure at Vanderbilt, Ali achieved her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing.
In the fall of 2023, Ali transitioned to HCA Healthcare, where she now serves as the Director of the Cardiac and Vascular Service Line. In this role, she oversees strategic initiatives and quality improvement efforts within the cardiovascular and vascular domains across HCA facilities.
Ali is actively engaged in professional organizations, serving as President-Elect of the Society of Vascular Nursing and contributing to the Society of Vascular Medicine. Her commitment to advancing nursing practice and improving patient care continues to drive her professional endeavors.
