Laura Newton is a rising PGY-4 General Surgery Resident at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. A Nebraska native and medical school graduate of University of Nebraska Medical Center, she is applying for an abdominal transplant fellowship this coming cycle and hopes to return to the Midwest after training. Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, hiking, ultra-running, gardening, baking, and exploring the lesser travelled corners of America's public lands.
