Dr. Luciano Delbono is a PGY-4 Vascular Surgery Resident at Univercity of Michigan. He grew up in North Carolina where he attended Wake Forest University. After a 4-year varsity soccer career, he was drafted to play in the MLS with the Montreal Impact. He continued his career playing with North Carolina FC and GBK in Finland and went on to work in finance at Hanesbrands Inc. before attending Wake Forest School of Medicine. Luciano is interested in computational fluid dynamics as it pertains to vascuilar disease processes, machine learning applications, and biomedical device design.
