John G. Carson, MD

Dr. Carson received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Internship and residency in general surgery were completed at the University of California, Irvine, and a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Carson has practiced as Chief Vascular Surgeon at the Sacramento Veterans Affairs Medical Center in CA and has served as an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of California Davis. He served as the medical director of vascular surgery at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta Maine. Currently, he is a Professor of Surgery at Tufts School of Medicine, Medical Director of the Vascular Laboratory, Associate Program Director of the Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency and Fellowship, and serves as a Vascular Surgeon at Maine Medical Center in Portland Maine.
