Gutenberg A. Gurgel, MD, MS (he/him/his)

Natal, Brazil

He holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte- Brazil (1988) and a Master's degree in Vascular Surgery from the Federal University of São Paulo-Brazil (2004). He is currently a member of the Brazilian Society of Angiology and Vascular Surgery and is a President of the Brazilian SVS chapter ( 2022-25. He has experience in the area of Medicine, with an emphasis on Medicine, presented mainly in the following subjects: angiology, vascular surgery and endovascular surgery. In the area of vascular surgery/endovascular: varicose vein surgery with ablation technique, laser and foam sclerotherapy with its various indications; treatment of carotid stenoses endo and open surgery; thoracic, thoracoabdominal, and abdominal aortic aneurysm; peripheral angioplasty in the lower limbs and access for hemodialysis with their rescues.
