Robbert B.M. Wiggers is a medical doctor and clinical technologist, who is currently working as a physician-researcher and PhD-candidate at the department of Vascular Surgery of the University Medical Center Utrecht in Utrecht, the Netherlands, since September 2023. His academic background includes degrees in Technical Medicine from the University of Twente (B.Sc., 2017; M.Sc., 2022) and Medicine from Utrecht University (M.D., 2023). His PhD focuses on peripheral arterial disease, with a special emphasis on novel technologies for non-invasive treatment and risk stratification within PAD patients.
