Dr. Allen Hamdan is a vascular surgeon in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a full time vascular and endovascular surgeon at Beth Israel Lahey Health, where he completed his residency and served as a fellow. Allen is also an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School.
He received his medical degree for New York University School of Medicine and has been in practice for over 20 years. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery and the American College of Surgeons.
He has had a productive academic career with over 100 publications and chapters and has served as a PI for numerous major clinical trials. He has performed over 10,000 operations during his career
On a more personal note Allen created Food is Medicine a charity that supports the GBFB in 2012 and now serves on the Greater Boston Food Bank’s Board of Directors.
