I am Antonio Solano, MD, postdoctoral research fellow of the Vascular Surgery Division at UT Soutwhestern Medical Center in Dallas under the leadership of Melissa Kirkwood, MD. I received my medical doctor degree at Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. During medical school, I worked in venous disease research projects including outcomes of varicose vein treatment, endovascular laser therapy, and chronic venous leg ulcers. Currently, I work on projects related to radiation safety, peripheral arterial disease intervention outcomes, and chronic venous insufficiency. I am aspiring to apply for vascular surgery residency in the US
