Betsy Wymer (she/her/hers)

Betsy is a doctorate-prepared registered nurse and joined the SVS PSO team as the Director of Quality in 2021. She has over twenty-five years of clinical experience in Interventional Radiology and the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Most recently, she was the Director of National Quality Campaigns at the American College of Cardiology in Washington, D.C. Betsy provides clinical expertise to various locations, assists in improving patient outcomes through development and management, conducts evidence-based research, and is responsible for developing and presenting quality content to annual meetings as well as other various educational webinars. Betsy obtained her Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS) Certification in 2024 to align with the latest VQI National Quality Initiative. She also manages the Fellows in Training (FIT) Program which began in 2022. Betsy can be reached at bwymer@svspso.org.
