Nada Kamel, DNP, FNP-C
Nada Kamel has been a registered nurse for more than 18 years. Her focus for the last 10 years has been mainly dedicated to dialysis patients. She is an expert in trouble shooting dialysis access issues, and is well known and recognized by the surrounding nephrologists and dialysis centers in the area. Nada is also passionate about education. She is currently a Clinical Associate in the Duke School of Nursing for the Nurse Practitioner programs.
Nada received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kennesaw State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She then pursued her master’s degree as Family Nurse Practitioner while working as a Unit manager on a med-surg/renal unit. Nada had her doctorate degree, DNP from Duke University while working as a nurse practitioner with Duke Vascular Surgery.
In addition to her professional work and educational endeavors, Nada loves being a wife and mother of two teenage children. The family stays very busy with her children’s' sports, social gatherings and events.
