Dr. Loay S. Kabbani, MD, MHSA, FACS is a board-certified vascular surgeon and Associate Professor of Surgery at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He serves as Program Director of the Vascular Surgery Fellowship. Dr. Kabbani received his medical degree from the Damascus University , completed his general surgery residency at Henry Ford, and his Vascular fellowship at the University of Michigan . He also holds a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) from the University of Michigan.
His clinical expertise spans aortic, peripheral, and carotid interventions, with particular interest in endovascular therapy, limb salvage, and complex aneurysm repair. An active contributor to the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society and the Society for Vascular Surgery, Dr. Kabbani has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and is widely regarded for his mentorship and efforts to advance diversity and inclusion in surgical training.
