Dr. Judith C. Lin is a Professor and Chief of Vascular Surgery at Michigan State University (MSU) College of Human Medicine and Section Chair of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing, MI. She is a distinguished fellow of the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS), past chair of SVS Health Information Technology Committee, Vice Chair of the SVS Clinical Practice Council, Member of SVS Compensation Work Group, member of SVS SET App Committee, panelist for the SVS Appropriate Use Criteria for PAD, and consultant for the SVS/SG2 Value of Vascular Surgery Consulting Program. She is a Board Examiner for the American Board of Surgery Vascular Surgery Board. She graduated from the Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine (ELAM) Class of 2025.
For over two decades, she has been voted as one of the Top Docs in Vascular Surgery in Detroit HOUR Magazine, selected as one of America’s Top Surgeons by Consumers’ Research Council of America and named Castle Connolly Top Doctor in Vascular Surgery. Her focus is on further development of successful clinical programs, robotics, artificial intelligence, and academic components of vascular surgery at MSU. She believes in our mission to deliver outstanding patient care and to leverage the intellectual talents and technological skills of vascular surgeons, vascular fellows, and surgical residents. With her clinical practice, research endeavors, and administrative responsibilities, she continues to serve as a physician leader in vascular surgery within the SVS and several national organizations to promote optimal management of vascular disease.
