VH03 - Fenestrated Endovascular Aneurysm Repair with an Integrated Bifurcate Has Emerged as the Optimal Design in the Percutaneous Rescue of Failed EVAR with Type IA Endoleak
Professor UMass Chan Medical School Worcester, Massachusetts
Summary: This video demonstrates the use of percutaneous fenestrated endovascular aortic repair to treat a type Ia endoleak occurring after failure of an infrarenal EVAR with suprarenal fixation. Bifurcate integration enabled a shortened main body design which fit well within the prior repair. In our opinion and experience, this design with an integrated bifurcate has become an optimal treatment strategy in the management of failed EVAR with type Ia endoleak.
